The BBB provides lists of accredited businesses as well as lists of fraudulent businesses.

Consumers can also obtain reliability reports on local businesses or charity organizations. There are 128 BBB offices in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Each office maintains files on businesses headquartered in the service area. The BCB will provide consumers information on contractors. Consumers can also use the Website to schedule an independent home inspection by the BCB of work performed by contractors in Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Livingston, Genesse and Orleans counties.
